Jocelyn's Cake

I forgot to put in a picture of Jocelyn's cake that she worked on for the party after her baptism. She wanted it to look like her new dress...she did a great job, with the help of Grandma Aline Kelm.

The After Party

After the baptism the kids, of course, couldn't wait to get outside and run around for a little bit! After the kids all decided who was going to drive home with whom, we all met back at our house for food and fun! Thanks everyone for coming and supporting Jocelyn on her special day!

There was lots and LOTS of food. We had sandwiches, salads, and chips & salsa...and we can't forget the highlight of the evening...the cake that Jocelyn made!

While the adults visited the kids all played and had a great time. The kids went around and took everyone's order of what they wanted to eat. They made everyone's desired dish out of grass, twigs and dirt. Delish!

Lunch Timel Fun

I guess that it is new tradition now, but every time the Kelms come to visit the girls always convince the Kelms to come to lunch with them. The Kelms are so great to appease the girls and meet all their friends!

Jocelyn's Baptism

On Saturday, Febrary 28th, Jocelyn was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The day before Grandma Kelm and Jocelyn made a special cake that would match Jocelyn's dress. They did a pretty good job I think! It was such a special day on the day of her baptism. She was lucky enough to have 2 of her friends also getting baptized at the same time, so the room was standing room only. She was such a beautiful young lady and was beaming from ear to ear all day long! I am so proud of Jocelyn's decision to be baptized. She works so hard at trying to always do what is right and being an example to others, she definitely keeps our family doing what we are supposed to. I still can't believe that she is old enough to be baptized, wasn't it only yesterday that I put her in a little white dress and watched her being blessed?
