So I usually don't do anything tricky for April Fools Day...I am a boring mom. I think that the reason that I don't do anything for this holiday is because I hate the thoughts of the revenge that might come back to get me and I hate to waste and ruin things (i.e. changing the salt and sugar). I don't know what came over me this year, but after I walked the girls to school I decided that I had better step things up a notch in our family. I came home and made ORANGE jello in a juice carafe. That night for dinner everyone (including Jared) was really excited that there was juice to drink. It was hilarious to watch Jocelyn as she tried and tried to get the "juice" poured out of the container. I had some pretty disappointed family members though when they realized that we got to eat the "juice" rather than drink it!
The only other thing that was done around our house was something that the girls and I did to Jared. We taped a little piece of paper on the sensor that is under the computer mouse. Unfortunately we didn't get to see his reaction when the mouse wasn't working, but he told us about it the next morning. Good job girls...you got him good.
