Jocelyn turned 8 years old today. It is hard to believe that she is getting so big. I often wonder where the years have gone. I don't know who was more excited when Jocelyn was born...Jessica or Jared and I. When they were going to discharge me from the hospital because I wasn't quite ready to have her, I kept thinking of how disappointed Jessica was going to be when we came home empty handed. Well, as luck would have it I didn't make it out of the hospital. As they came in the room with my discharge papers, Jocelyn decided to make her entrance. (Hmmmm....I guess that should have clued me in right there that Jocelyn would not be budged or hurried along until she was absolutely ready to do something!) Jocelyn is such a fun addition to our family. She is always so happy and bubbly. She is so full of life and excitement all the time. She adores her little brothers and dotes on their every whim. She is the comedian of the family so tension doesn't last long when she is around. She is also the best sharer out of all the kids. She is always willing to share her candy or whatever she has with Jessica or the boys. One of the things that I love best though about Jocelyn is her cuddliness. She still loves to be hugged and kissed and just cuddle up next to me. I love that about her. She is such a sweet little girl. Jocelyn has been working on the steps to getting baptized next weekend. Such an exciting thing for her to become an official member of the Church. I have to step back and hope that I have been teaching her well enough that she can start making some of her own choices and mistakes. Happy 8th Birthday Jocelyn! We love you!
